  • 6.1 Cinema tickets. Your Membership entitles you to book a ticket for yourself to attend the Cineworld Cinemas included within your Unlimited Membership Group and watch:

    (i) any standard 2D film screening open to the general public, in a standard seat, in a standard auditorium or a Superscreen auditorium (where available) ; and

(ii) on payment of an Uplift, any film screening open to the general public in premium format and/or auditorium such as 3-D, IMAX, 4DX and ScreenX screenings and/or in recliner/premium seating.

Your Membership also entitles you to book a ticket for yourself to attend and watch films at Cineworld Cinemas not included within your Unlimited Membership Group on payment of an Uplift. All tickets are subject to availability and the relevant Cineworld Cinema being open. Films screened at Cineworld Cinemas will be determined by Cineworld in its sole discretion. Occasionally, screenings may be cancelled or rescheduled or films may be substituted for an alternative film due to circumstances beyond our control.

6.2 What’s not included. Event Cinema such as live and recorded screenings of opera, theatre, sports and concerts, screenings at special events such as film festivals, premieres and private events and the price of 3D glasses are not included within your Unlimited Membership, although discounts on ticket prices for selected Event Cinema may be available at the time of booking.

6.3 Usual restrictions apply. All film screenings and your access to Cineworld Cinemas are subject to normal restrictions such as age certifications and Cineworld’s Terms of Entry. You have no preferential rights of access for any screenings except for Unlimited Advance Screenings which are only available to you and other Unlimited Members and tickets for these screenings will be subject to availability. You are not entitled to use your Unlimited Card in conjunction with any other promotions offered by Cineworld unless otherwise stated and the Unlimited Card cannot be used to prove your age.

6.4 Booking tickets online. You may use your Unlimited Card to book tickets for yourself online via the App or Cineworld Website. You may have up to five (5) pending online bookings for yourself using your Unlimited Card at any one time. You must be logged-in and make your booking through your Account. Bookings for Event Cinema, Unlimited Advance Screenings and tickets obtained in-cinema do not count towards your online booking allocation. Although a booking fee usually applies to Cineworld customers when cinema tickets are booked online, these booking fees will not be payable for tickets you book for yourself or other Unlimited Members when using their respective Unlimited Cards (see 6.7 below). Your booked tickets will be displayed in your Account (under ‘My Purchases’ on the App and ‘My Bookings’ on the Cineworld Website) with a QR code for scanning at the cinema. Tickets will not be issued if your Unlimited Card is invalid (see section 5.7 for more about validity).

6.5 Booking tickets at the cinema. You may use your Unlimited Card to book tickets in person at the Cineworld Cinema on the day of the performance. To obtain your ticket, you must present your Unlimited Card at a Cineworld Cinema box office, Ticket and Concessions stand or an Automatic Ticket Machine (ATM). Your Unlimited Card will be scanned to check its validity and additional identification may be requested. If your Unlimited Card is validated, you will be issued with a ticket for the chosen screening and time, subject to availability. Tickets will not be issued if your Unlimited Card is invalid (see section 5.7 for more about validity).

6.6 Only one booking for the same film at the same time. You can watch as many films as you wish, as many times as you want, except that you may not have more than one online booking for the same film at any one time or book for two films which overlap or start within 90 minutes of each other, whether those tickets are booked in cinema or online.

6.7 Booking tickets for other Unlimited Members. When booking a ticket for yourself, you may simultaneously book a ticket for each of up to five other Unlimited Members that you have added as “Friends and Family” in your Account for the same screening. Bookings for Friends and Family will be subject to the terms and conditions of their respective Unlimited Membership plans and, where applicable, payment of Uplifts, for example where the booking is for a screening at a Cineworld Cinema not included within your Friend’s Unlimited Membership Group. You may only add other Unlimited Members as Friends and Family within your Account and use their Unlimited Card to book tickets for them where they have given you permission via their own Account.

6.8 Booking tickets for those who are not current Unlimited Members. When booking a ticket for yourself, you may simultaneously book and purchase tickets for others who are not Unlimited Members for the same screening at Cineworld’s standard prices for that particular screening. A non-refundable booking fee per ticket for each person for whom a seat is booked (Booking Fee) will usually apply when booking tickets for other customers online. The Booking Fee is in addition to the price of a ticket and will be added as a separate charge during the booking process. The amount of the Booking Fee payable at the time of booking tickets is published on screen during the ticket booking process. If you do not wish to pay the Booking Fee, you may purchase tickets at the cinema in person, where it will not apply, although prices for tickets purchased in cinema may be higher or lower than those purchased online.

6.9 Using tickets at the cinema. Where you have booked tickets online using your Unlimited Card you should use the App to display your ticket(s) at the cinema before entering the relevant auditorium. Alternatively, you can access your e-tickets online in your Account through the Cineworld Website. Entrance will not be permitted unless you display a valid Unlimited Card and the relevant tickets. When attending more than one performance in a day, you must show a valid ticket for each performance, together with your Unlimited Card on request. Please ensure you arrive at the auditorium by the advertised performance time, as you may be refused admission if you arrive after the start of the feature presentation. Where you have booked tickets for others, all members of your group must be admitted into the performance together and you must be able to provide proof of ticket purchase for all members of your party. Any Unlimited Members in your group must also display their Unlimited Card as and when requested by Cineworld staff. Cineworld’s Terms of Entry will apply each time you visit a Cineworld Cinema.

6.10 Managing your ticket bookings. Bookings cannot be amended, although tickets booked online using your Unlimited Card may be cancelled in your Account through ‘My Purchases’ on the App and ‘My Bookings’ via the Cineworld Website. These cancellations may be made up to 120 minutes (2 hours) prior to the start of the booked performance provided the tickets have not already been collected at the cinema. Where you have paid for tickets or Uplifts as part of the booking, funds will usually be returned to the same payment method used to make the booking (or if not possible, on a Cineworld gift card/e-voucher, via BACS transfer or other method at Cineworld’s discretion). Please note, previously charged booking fees and any additional fees for SMS confirmation or 3D glasses will not be refunded and redeemed voucher codes cannot be re-used. Tickets purchased at the cinema, booked online without using your Unlimited Card or already collected in-cinema prior to cancellation will not be refundable.

6.11 Cancelling tickets when you’re unable to attend. If you have booked a ticket online using your Unlimited Card and you are unable to attend the screening, you must cancel your booking as soon as possible and in any case within the timeframe specified in section 6.10. Cineworld may decide, at its discretion, that repeated ‘no-shows’ is misuse of your Unlimited Membership and may result in your Unlimited Membership being suspended and/or terminated.

6.12 Managing your Unlimited Membership. You can manage your Unlimited Membership online through your Account, including changing your contact details and the payment card associated with your Account, updating your marketing preferences and making a missed payment of your Membership Fees. To change your photograph or your Unlimited Membership Group, please contact the Unlimited Team for assistance.

6.13 Availability of the App, the Cineworld Website and other Cineworld online services. Cineworld may make changes to the Account, the App, the Cineworld Website, the number of online tickets you can book in advance online using your Unlimited Card and withdraw or change any and all online ticket booking at any time and without notice. If you are unable to book tickets via the App and/or Cineworld Website for any reason, but you can still use your Unlimited Card to obtain tickets in-cinema and display it to validate your admission to the cinema, then your Unlimited Membership will be deemed active.
